MY REVIEW

Francine Rivers is one of my favorite authors, writing both historical fiction and contemporary fiction that I find engaging and impossible to put down. Her Daughter's Dream is no exception, and I absolutely loved this book! The characters are realistically portrayed, and the family tensions are ones that we all can relate to, men or women. Who of us doesn't have disagreements with our parents, differences of opinions on how to live life, misunderstandings between us? As with the first story in this series, my emotions were readily engaged, and I even had some tears in my eyes! The story is skillfully written, and brought to life God's truth, his forgiveness, the power of reconciliation.

I highly recommend this book, and give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
